About Milanyeusi

Built from the streets of Kigamboni.

Milanyeusi started as a t-shirt line and grew into a social enterprise — carrying the belief that origin, culture, and discipline are the real currency of a movement.

The philosophy

Three pillars hold everything up

Every product, campaign, and program traces back to one of these three commitments.

PILLAR 01

Eco-Fashion

Streetwear made with intention — the Asili Tee line puts sustainable, culture-rooted design on the body.

PILLAR 02

Eco-Farming

The Green Lab — building toward sustainable, land-based practice as part of the brand's long-term footprint.

PILLAR 03

Youth Entrepreneurship

Equipping young people in Dar es Salaam with the tools, capital access, and mentorship to build their own.

How it's structured

One founder, three entities

Milanyeusi operates across three distinct arms, each with its own function but the same origin story.

01

Milanyeusi (Commercial Brand)

The eco-fashion streetwear label. Home of the Asili Tee line — registered with BRELA.

02

Nyeusi Creative Lab

The creative arm — media, content, and original storytelling, including The Masked Commuter comic series.

03

Milanyeusi Youth Foundation

The nonprofit arm — being registered as a charitable trust under CAP 318 via RITA, running the Chaguo La Moyo initiative with Sarafina Orphanage.
